Honours Project Journal – Easter Break – Term 2

The Easter break was pent finalising code. The image recognition side of the project had a lot of technical issues so,I decided to focus on perfecting the perceptron application that I made that classifies if a  point is above or below a line. I also made a C++ application using OpenCVs tracking API to make a live object tracker application that tracks objects based on their colour. The second week of the holidays I  wrote a large chunk of the dissertation including adding the history of neural networks to the literature review, improving the introduction, writing the abstract and writing most of the methodology.
